La Belle Dame Sans Merci / John Keats / in Tamil / Bharath Rvindran / Bharath Academy. It was the very cold season of that year. A Knight-at-arms met a lady at the side of a lake. She was very beautiful. Her hair was long. Her eyes were wild. She looked at the knight as if she loved him. He asked her to travel with him in his horse. She admitted. She leaned on his arms. The horse moved slowly. She took him to her cave. There she gave him roots and manna dew. She wept. He wiped her tears by giving four kisses on her eyes. In a strange language she said she loved him.
He slept on her lap. She sang a melodious song. He had a dream. In his dream kings, princes, warriors warned him that the beautiful lady without merci had enslaved him. Suddenly he woke up and found he was there. He could not see her. He could not forget her. So he wandered in her memory.
