La Belle Noiseuse (1991) Review - Edouard Frenhofer is an aging famous painter, who 10 years ago decided to abandon his greatest masterpiece the La Belle Noiseuse. At a get together one day, a man named Nicolas offers his girlfriend Marianne as model, giving Edouard a new opportunity to once again create his greatest work of yet to date. Marianne isn't pleased by her boyfriend offering her up however and expresses her displeasure with the situation. She ultimately agrees to become his model and together they go on a journey through art and discovery.
