Alpine village?....ski town, tourist trap, secondary homes etc, ie Haute-Savoie.

It is indeed very hard to find an example of an Alpine village that has not succumbed to capitalism investments and of course this influences the experience. That being said, La Clusaz still offered us an alpine charm that was rather enjoyable. Cheers!
