But let's be fair let's really be fair On the West side of town some gas stations are in the middle $5 range. Same area some gas stations are in a high $4 range. Just about every shell gas station is $5 or more But they have always been expensive.

I drive a Tesla and save a few hundred on gas every month (40+ mile round trip daily). Tesla also requires no maintenance and due to regenerative breaking you barely even use the break pads. Basically you just change your tires every 40K miles

In 2021 demand went up dramatically with production levels remaining about the same as it was at 2020 cutback levels. In 2020 oil companies lost on average about 4 billion dollars. In 2021 they saw record profits averaging about 17 billion. That's why you're seeing high gas prices. In fact, many companies like Amazon are seeing record profits but they still raise prices. The more they make. The more they want. You think they care about the average working family in America?
