It's nice that La Dispute has such a love for Charles Bukowski. All of his work is fantastic, and seeing his poem coupled with La Dispute is fantastic.

I found a site last night with all La Dispute lyrics. I read the lyrics of this last night and knee I'd love the song. I did. I had never listened to any of the Here, Hear EPs, either. I just knew I'd love it. @juanns the lyrics were taken from three of that author's poems. Jordan put them together in such a way that they'd flow.

yes, but Jordan adds emotion to anything he does, and makes them feel as if they are his own/ he experienced it

this music is far too introspective and profound to gain the attention it deserves. people just want something they can sit down and passively tap their feet to.this type of stuff should be required listening for anyone who wants to write lyrics.

I love the piano behind the voice! What genre is it? I thought of Jazz, but I'm not sure. Jazz is a bit different. Does anyone know more songs with that same kind of music? Thanks (:

:D i understand life now.. its fucking stupid sometimes -_- but it wont change, ever, we just got to keep our heads up, or actually down, so we dont see the the bad stuff on earth worst than it actually seems, and dont take things other peope say so seriously, for we all come to an end one day, and nothing will matter after that.
