As a child of the 80's, who grew up in Europe, there's a certain sound that holds dear to my heart...a certain rhythm that quickens my blood...a certain vocal confluence that migrates me right back to any of a dozen times I sat alone in my room with my new boombox and found myself flipping a tape (I had just aquired from a local music shop having selected it only by the album art) over and over again, until it tattooed its presence into my heart... hearkening you back to that first synthy New Wave track by Kraftwerk or OMD, or Soft Cell, or Gary Newman, or Yazoo, or UltraVox, or Talk Talk, or Missing Persons, or similar 80's staple that first dindled your musical soul. This latest release from La Femme, is just such a magical time machine to a moment in the 80's that only presents itself today, like a revisiting of past memories, and chance to squeeze in a new historical cornerstone into the foundation of your musical roots even though it never existed in that past reality. And while it may not find its way to mainstream success today, I present it to you of a certain shared experience and historical musical condition... that you might even momentarily feel a reconnection with your own past musical wonderment and introspective musical discovery. Enjoy it for the musical gift it is and let it serve as homage to all those glorious moments in time when as a tween or teen you truly felt like you were on top of the world.

In my humble opinion it is by far the best song on the album, it should last twice as long. Seriously, best atmosphere since Me Suive. Really love it.

Does anybody know where the poem at the beginning of the song is from? (Google can't find it) "Don't you ever wonder why Anxiety's eating you up and killing you inside? In the silence of the night I saw a flying bеd and i took it as a sign I've just begun to fight You just begin to fight ..."
