Videos like this point out the fact that beautiful, enriching music is most often made on a small scale far away from the great national orchestras or opera houses or cathedrals. musically our Western culture fails in that its whole efforts seem to be to funnel everyone to the top, to reap enormous financial rewards and if one does not make it to the pinnacle somehow one has failed musically. This is truer in the US than in Europe. This whole belief system is so false. Listening to this lovey rendition of la Folia in a small church with a small organ and a few instruments gives the music an intimacy that it could never have in a larger venue with more "bling". This was so wonderfully done. I am sure the angels in heaven danced with as much joy as they would have if this had been a cathedral with a five manual organ a million pipes and a symphony orchestra. That the angels danced with equal joy, in the end is what really matters
