I was there since Game 1 in 1996, Galaxy vs New York/Jersey Metro Stars. My heart was broken in the Final vs. D.C. United. 6 Championships later, it was all worth it!!

Are they the league's definitive dynasty? I know DC United was the first, and others have had stretches (seattle, kansas city). But the galaxy have won championships with multiple generations of players now.

I’m English, realistically, you guys shouldn’t care too much what we think. However, you guys are the “TEAM/CLUB” if you understand. The USA club, the team people think of, when they think of the USA. This was already the case, before today. It was SOLIDIFIED today. You guys are the “Man U” or “Real Madrid” of the USA. However, you guys probably see yourself as the “Cowboys”. Which realistically, is better for the sport, competitively.

That's a fair point. Having Beckham come over years ago only made the Galaxy even more of a high-profile club for MLS. I feel bad for DC United since they were the first dynasty in MLS, but nobody can take away Galaxy's 6 cups. Nice to see people from around the world keeping eyes on MLS! @@oh_whale I’m a Leeds fan, and we won the last division 1 title, before it became the prem. We were notorious, for being the hated team. We still are of course. Although our rivalry with Man U, and Chelsea, has suffered massively. Still, we have a cult following, and lots of teams respect us, for our good attendance and atmosphere. You still respect DC, for their history all the same. Every person I’ve ever met, from Manchester, will tell you, they hate Leeds far more, than City or Arsenal. The dynasty still stands, even when the empire falls.
