Well, this wasn't very good. A nice goal by Cabral, and I hope he recovers quickly. But, we couldn't get much going for most of the game. A one goal difference, but, it could have been a lot better. We have to wait 11 weeks until we get another shot at the Galaxy, which may prove to be a very important match in early October. For now though, let's focus on what's immediately ahead. 1 more match until the All-Star break, and it's back home for the Rocky Mountain Cup on Saturday! Glad Bombito is back, let's get it done in front of C38!! Go Rapids❤💙

I felt like he wasn't too bad for us until one game a year or two ago that got him a lot of hate from the fans (he then never played for us ever again). He performed badly but I do feel bad for him too as he's not really that bad overall. I hope he managed to find his footing in the MLS again and improve once again.

Galaxy team forte is the midfielders and forwards Puig, Pec, Fagundez, Paintsil, and the others are great but their weakness are the defenders Neal, Yoshida, and Yamane are slow to cover and opposite teams know it and expose them on most games. The Galaxy needs to address the defense liability and sign at least 2 dependable defenders asap.

@narrarators: the correct way to pronounce Ricki Puig's name isn't like you did by saying "Puch". His last name is Catalan and am sure if u mispronounced it in his presence he'd consider it disrespectful. The proper way to pronounce his last name is pu-wee-ig. Do ur job right.

Hmm... seems there may be some difference of opinion. A Catalan expat I know says it's pronounced more like "pwedge" with one syllable not three, and holding the tongue back off the palate on the 'd'. In any case, MLS doesn't hire or supervise the announcers, so they're never going to see your comment here. BTW, where I'm from in the midwest US, "your" has a 'y' sound at the beginning, rather than the soft 'oor' of 'ur'....
