Please do a video on how to get shade matched at a MAC counter. I want to get tested so I can ask my friend to buy it from the US (cuz the price difference :D) but I don't like going to a store and not buying anything. So I wanted a lowdown on how the experience is since I have heard MAC MUAs are pretty snooty and I have only bought MAC lipsticks from Nykaa so don't have real life experience with their sales people.

Pallavi Sanyal they’re actually not that bad . I went to get shades matched and she put two different colours on me and told me to go out and check in natural daylight and wear it for some time before I decide . So that way , even if you don’t buy immediately , they don’t mind . But I found MAC to be so highly overrated for foundation .. I liked my PAC HD foundation and my L’Oréal matt magique wayyyy more .

Pallavi Sanyal I agree they are snooty. I got my shade wrong and was forced to buy a shade darker than what I actually am. I had a bad experience at their counter..

Pallavi Sanyal Hi if you have any other foundation that matches you well you can enter that foundation on sites like Temptalia and get your shade in Mac. Also, I have noticed the Mac counters in the malls are ok. But in Bangalore there is a separate store where the SA's were too much😒

Yess they are snooty..but I kinda have a mixed experience..wen I got lipsticks from mac store in Noida(Mall of India) SAs were really sweet but wen my boyfriend went to a MAC store in Mumbai to get something for me as a surprise the SA there was very rude(He told me), I literally felt so offended..felt like going there and asking her wat's the problem with her 😁😁

Sanchari Mukherjee Hi if you have yellow undertones I would suggest the same shades as me. That is warm beige in illuminating foundation and light tan in the matte one. As shades lighter than this have different undertones.
