It's for the most part a skirmish to see who really resisted inbetween the right that's considered far-right now and the far left. The far right says that they in fact resisted and that yes, a part of them collaborated, but it doesn't make them fascist. The far left says staline liberated Europe, that the resistance was mainly left wing and that Staline was an inovator. So all in all it's right wing inaccuracies against the left hard revisionism.

When people say they aren't political, what they usually mean is that they ARE political, but they have no controversial beliefs. Most left-wing songs have very sympathetic messages that, by nature, appeal to the masses; they range from "I hate fascists" to "everyone should be free." Regardless of anyone's belief in leftism as a structure to put those messages into practice, those positive messages are still espoused by leftism. Right-wing ideology, on the other hand, is by nature "othering" - that is to say, it appeals to specific groups. I'm not Japanese, so Japanese nationalist songs do nothing for me. Jewish people probably have a hard time jamming to fascist songs about exterminating them. On the other hand, the grand majority of people don't like the Nazis, so almost everyone can enjoy Sacred War without reservations. Tld;dr: you have to be part of a pretty specific group of people to dislike left-wing messages, but you have to be part of an equally specific group of people to enjoy right-wing messages.
