Does la junta really need all this expensive fire equipment when they can't fix our roads, update the electric grid or cut the weeds around town! Plus the city will not bring in new business or jobs! Why job security for all the entrenched city government and employees. They protect their job very well like Rock Kline. La junta co a city that loves to Spend spend spend while they tax the citizens. O but wait the city has a cash cow with the electric department that gouges it's citizens with high utility rates.

Hello Irvine, the city of La Junta is taking applications for the public works dept so if you'd like to fill pot holes & cut weeds, we can sure use you. Big Joe in DC has promised money for upgrading the power grid but that's not in our bailiwick.
