my favorite memories ever watching hockey and i don't think this will ever top it. 3 game 7s on the road, coming back from 3-0, and beating prime chicago. this team had so much heart

that reverse sweep in round 1 against san jose who was the third seed that year will be a series for the ages given that the kings were a 6th seed and that not many teams had ever done reverse sweeps before. Even recovering from a 3-2 deficit the next round against the ducks and nearly coughing up a 3-1 lead over the defending champion blackhawks and barely getting revenge on them after they beat them pretty easy the year prior just stunning. Apart of me wishes kopitar had the conn smythe but man was williams a stud during this run. Ofc in 2012 it was quicks trophy and it wasn't even close but 2014 kopitar and williams were neck and neck for receiving it all spring and ofc williams mr game 7 got it. I was never much of a kings fan but man those 2012 and 2014 cup runs and that 2013 run to the conference finals are fun as hell too see. The 2010s was no doubt the best decade in Kings history

Easily my fav cup run. 3 game 7 road wins, beating both california rivals, overcame a 3-0 deficit, dethroned the defending cup champs, 3 thrilling OT wins at home in the SCF esp Game 5.
