The aesthetics in this movie are amazing. A little fun fact, when the two are separated lots of the primary colors are used (red, yellow, blue). For example his blue suit her yellow dress and red purse. But as they start to come together greens purples and oranges are used. In this video the sunsets turns orange and purple because they are starting to come together. The secondary colors are used as symbolism because they are a blend of the primary colors so it used to show them coming and blending together. If that makes senss

Lyrics: (They start singing at 1:08 ) The sun is nearly gone The lights are turning on A silver shine that stretches to the sea We've stumbled on a view That's tailor-made for two What a shame those two are you and me . Some other girl and guy Would love this swirling sky But there's only you and I And we've got no shot . This could never be You're not the type for me (really?) And there's not a spark in sight What a waste of a lovely night . You say there's nothing here? Well, let's make something clear I think I'll be the one to make that call (but you'll call?) And though you looked so cute In your polyester suit (it's wool) You're right, I'd never fall for you at all . And maybe this appeals To someone not in heels Or to any girl who feels There's some chance for romance . But, I'm frankly feeling nothing Is that so? @Rohan Besra Ryan Gosling was robbed of an oscar for his performance in La La Land and the main reason is he learnt piano for his face to look more natural while playing the instrument . He also danced and sang so well in this masterpiece. His acting was so flawless perfect and expressive yet mostly subtle hitting all the right notes .

I think the most famous will be the audition scene - it is musical stripped to the bone. Minimalistic and yet it is still classical musical.

Yeah, and another day if sun is 3 minutes and only contains 2 cuts. The scene looks like it flows but there are cuts well hidden. Nevertheless, the cinematography us beautiful.

I would recommend Gene Kelly films made back in the 50's like Singin' In The Rain and An American In Paris. Those films inspired Damien Chazelle and Justin Hurwitz in a huge way, you could notice that from the use of studios and props in some parts of the film to give it a classic look. In addition to Top Hat and Swing Time which was made inthe 30's and featured legends of musicals Fredn and Ginger. A Start is Born might give a Musical Vibe, but If you want something just like La La Land, my recommendations won't dissapoint you.

This Movie is Just Perfect in my eyes. The way Damian Chazelle blends humor with heart and lessons about life sprinkle throughout there makes this one of the best movies of all time. Even though our characters don’t end up together at the end, it present a realistic outcome and even though it doesn’t seem like they don’t get together, they will always be together cause they have each other to thank for getting to there stardom.
