Is it open during the wet season? It's possible to get to the waterfall?

We are open all year round. During the wet season we have to check the water leven every morning and make sure is safe before we start running the tours. So it will depend how much it rains the day prior or if it didn't rain at all.

How long of a hike is it? We are planning on stopping there on our way to Liberia from La Fortuna. I want to make sure we get enough time to get back on the road to Libera. Also, do you do advance reservations for the tours and is there a good place to park that is secure? Thanks!

The hike is 2km each way (1.5 miles each way) and the average duration of the experience is from 2.5 to 3hrs. @@leonawaterfall Thanks for the info. I was looking at the option of the hike to La Leona and the Tubing on the website. Are there different times for departure? For instance, we leave Tabacon on the morning of the 18th of June. Can we still do both?

For our tour Closed toe shoes Sandals with straps or water shoes are accepted. Flip flops are not allowed. So far no one has ever had any issues wearing sandals.
