Loving this video, been to La Manga three times in the early 2000’s and loved the West Course, found it the most challenging as you had to be straight, where as the north and south were a lot wider!!! Now my son wants to go

This was my favorite course at La Manga - can't wait to see you play the 18th!!!! (I too, took the wrong club on the 3rd tee. The ball hit one of the trees in the middle of that massive ditch, and dropped down onto the narrow stone bridge that crosses it. Free relief was rather nice (although I had just spent a few minutes digging around in the hazard due to completely missing it on the path)

Where has the gammy knee drop come from? And if it's a video please can someone tell me which one.

I think it was an extension of the 2019 drop rule where it was changed where you could drop from whatever height you please or something like that, hence when they did the drop which was pretty much a place and it "fell" through an inch of air. Then the rule was changed to where it has to be from knee height and I don' think it specified how high the knee has to be, so they are lowering their knee as close as possible to the ground.
