Hoarding conditions are awful and I'm so glad the fire was not worse and I'm very proud of the fire department for not letting it get worse. I hope the cats are all OK and I hope someone takes the cats and birds in to take care of them. Our apartment complex will not allow hoarding and had yearly fire inspections of all apartments to make sure that all residents abide by all fire safety rules. A down the hall neighbor had a fire in their apartment and it filled our whole top floor with choking smoke. The fire was self extinguished by the fire suppression sprinklers. It was a whole meal that caught fire 🔥 and the smoke smelled like all kinds of food but still choking me with my mask on.

That’s so important that every apartment / homes have smoke detectors working. Hope she gets help with her mental health.. Hoarding is never a good sign

Five cops standing around doing nothing. No more speeding tickets, no red light runner tickets, no shoplifting arrests, no more responding to neighbors disturbing the peace. So what else do they have to do? Looks like they have too many police on the payroll.
