Nice review :) I like them both, but the Mrs likes Bleu Electrique more, because of that fresh and sparkly opening. Just finished my first 40ml "trial" bottle, so I went out yesterday to replenish it with the big bottle and picked up a few extra as backups. I got that same 60ml bottle from Macy's. Paid $38.00 with free shipping as a Black Friday deal. I remember trying LNDLH about 2 years ago and it didn't wow me. Howevery, I find this version very pleasant. It doesn't set my nose on fire like other fragrances, but on its own merits, it is a wonderful release by YSL

I tend to smell the heart note more in fragrances. OG is warm spicy-creamy lavender on dry down, while this one is more floral-sparkly ginger (residue) to my nose mostly due to the geranium. I smell geranium as floral more than the “minty” description that most people give.

Funny I came across this video, I just received a 30ml decant of blue electrique and a 30ml of original la nuit de l'homme. Strangely, I'd never smelled either before now. With that being said, I prefer blue electrique! They are similar with the cardamom but the lavender in electrique gives a nice fresh and modern twist over the original. Plus blue electrique seems to perform better on my skin. The original became a skin scent pretty fast imo.

People complaining about performance either must be going nose blind from over spray or it must be a specific chemistry thing because my la Nuit bleu electrique last all workday long heavy labor and sweating I smell this stuff from 7am to 7pm when I'm back at home... I've gotten a compliment 6hrs in from the hallway outside of a room I was working in they popped their head in to say wow I knew you were close because I could smell how good you are from out here wow! And I only use 5-6 sprays routine BEST RELEASE OF 2021

If anyone wants a YSL scent that projects then buy Y. La Nuit was always meant to be an intimate scent. My advice for the people that complain about the lack of projection then grow a pair of balls and get close to the girl you’re trying to impress.

Tom Ford Grey Vetiver (EDT and EDP). It's discontinued, but you can still find it(maybe). Hermes Terre D'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche and EDT. Both are citrus/vetiver base fragrances. Not neroli tho. But smell nice. Bvlgari Wood Neroli is also pretty good.

I bought the 60 ml when Macys had the discount. Picked it up for $44 ish, couldn’t have been happier with the pick up. I was scared trying to get into the LNDL line, and this is the first one I’ve owned and smelled. Was too scared that the current formulations of LNDL were watered down and a misrepresentation of what LNDL really is

The watered down talk was a scam people used to price gouge stooges on their preformulated stock. It changed a little but it wasn’t drastic. Anytime there’s a fragrance that gets reformulated, there’s going to be a bunch of lying wolves out there trying to sale you snake oil. Original LNDL was a faint scent to begin with. The reformulation was actually the same strength. The rest is is psychosomatic

I tried this on my skin smelled amazing but it lasted about an hour and could not smell. La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum is amazing to me. Will stick with that.

@@treyj4007 it has to be noseblindness or some other reaction with your nose or skin chemistry I keep hearing people knock the longevity but maybe you just need more lotion on your skin because I sweat so much I never need lotion not once in my life and this YSL Bleu Electrique last many hours on my skin I get the strong Cardamom and florals for like 6 to 8 hours, the notes of cedar and vetiver with just light hints of the middle notes, into hrs 9-11 I just get the base notes after that honestly I believe most people who have had experiences with most these frags it's their skin not the frag because when I grab a fragrance that people say last 12hours it's lasting 24+ on my skin my nose smells it's full evolution like givenchy gentlemen Edp has lasted almost 30hours on me with me still being able to smell multiple base notes

Not really smoky... more like a slightly fruity-fresh, powdery cardamom. Just a tad sweet (so best for Spring weather, not high-heat summer). Overall, it's really nice and the ladies do like it (many compliments), if that matters to you. If you are hesitating between today's formulation of LNDLH and Bleu électrique, I'd go with the latter.@@delfinijo5331

I wouldnt hype this for those who have a keen nose and fanaticism for the OG as this is less a clone of the Original LNDL and more a fusion of several iterations of LNDL line. For those that have tried them all, off the sprayer this scent has the much stronger powdery vibes youd find in YSL LNDL L'Intense. While Bleu Electrique and the Original have very apparent warm spicy (cardamon) and lavender in them, the Ginger and Geranium are strong enough in this to give it a noticeably different feel. It is a mix between the OG and the L'Intense version with a zing of Ginger and Geranium. I bought this on sale at Macys for a steal and still debated opening it or returning it (bought it more out of impulse). Now that Ive opened it, while at first I wasnt too impressed, the dry down has made me happy with my decision. Its a smooth gentlemenly scent for sure.

Tried this only once and the performance was very weak, 3-4 hours and it was completely gone. I also tried ADG Profondo and Luna Rossa Ocean that day. They were both H2H and reached the 8th hour mark while Bleu Electrique faded away completely from the 4th hour. I will give it another chance for sure, I don't like to misjudge.
