After I retired at age 65, I took up piano lessons, again. I say again because I've had piano lessons as a child but never pursued it or have forgotten it when I went to college. So in my piano class, the adult group "show off' their piece at the end of the semester. This was my piece. La Paloma, in memory of my mom. Our teacher, to my surprise, started singing the song, as if I was accompanying him! But you did it so well, it took me back in time. Enjoyed watching you play La Paloma. TY.

Yes, thank you, "La Paloma" is a Habanera composed by Sebastien Iradier from Spain. Bt, let me just add, that la Habanera is a rhythm that comes from Cuba, from Habana, Cuba from where it gets its name.
