@unitystarlight133 жыл бұрын
If this "cart narc" had spoke to him like a normal person and didn't act like a smartass, if he politely asked the man to put the cart in the right place while explaining the potential dangers without the whole magnet scene, the blue shirt guy would have probably listened to him and put the cart there, or at least he wouldn't have got angry. This guy's goal is not to cause awareness and you all know it, he just wants to put up a show for his KZbin video
@jonjonson73923 жыл бұрын
@@unitystarlight13 what are you even talking about? His first contact with the lazybones was a very friendly, compassionate toned "you know better than this, you kbow this isn't where the cart goes". He def did not approach the douchebag in an aggressive instigating manner
@jonjonson73923 жыл бұрын
@@unitystarlight13 the guy's immediate response was"do you want to return it for me?", implying he knows the carts are supposed to be returned but he doesn't care to clean up after himself like a 4 year old leaving all their toys out for mommy to put away
@unitystarlight133 жыл бұрын
@@jonjonson7392 lol you even said it. "You know better than this, you know this isnt where the cart goes". This right here, with his voice, is already putting the guy with the blue shirt in an inferior level, it's like saying: come one you weakling, I have faith in you, you can still do the right thing and stop being such a lazy ass person". If you can't see that then I must be different, just like the guys in his videos. I will tell you more, if I was this cart narcs guy I would make a much better job than him. If the goal is to make people put their cart on the right place then I would probably approach them and say: "Hello sir, I hope you are good today. I just came here to say that recently we have been having some issues with the carts being in the middle of the road, there have been some cars that got hit by the carts and sometimes people want to park their car but the spot is not available. So I would like to gently ask you if you could return your cart to its place as our workers are being a bit overloaded with work right now. Thank you very much". This right here is the right way to start a conversation, not the whole siren thing at the beginning with the smart-ass passive aggressive tone, him calling them lazybones and putting a useless sticker on their car over and over again when he realises they won't do what he asked them to do (what a surprise!!). I will say it again, he just wants to shame them in a funny way and then post the video on KZbin, he doesnt want to change people's behavior.

When lazybones say, "They pay someone to collect the carts," I have a nice analogy for them: "The stores also have maintenance to keep the store clean. Does that make it alright for me to take a drink into the store, decide I've had enough, pour the drink onto the floor, and then toss the cup somewhere?" I mean, sure, I'm being lazy and making a mess that could potentially hurt someone, but the store pays people to clean up messes, so it's their responsibility. Besides, I'm not being paid to be responsible by the store! Bleeeeeh. Some people really need to stop being so pathetic and lazy.

I appreciate everything you put into the video. You choose your words carefully: never shame their body or their car (financial standing). You persist on common courtesy and insist on their character. You never call them names as you just attribute their characteristics (e.g., lazy, angry) and add the suffix “-bones.” Magnets keep it nice and legal as it’s not permanent. Well done!

There's definitely a LOT of planning with these videos, and likely regular conversations with attorneys.
