Awesome! I just finished my first Paraset but have the frequency for reception not on the right range. Have to modify/adjust the coil a little to obtain the right range. 73, Rob, YS1RS

Thanks for your comment. I cut the video so that I show when I get an answer. In some cases, I call on the phone and arrange frequency and time.

Well nobody seems to have undertaken an efford to research that, but I know that in nearly every country were they were used a few seemed to have survived in museums and in private hands. Both types early wooden box and later metal box versions. These became obselete during the war. These sets were easier for the Germans to locate. The moment the power was on! Although some have been used right up till the end of the war. In the Netherlands an agent used it till the end of the war. Possibly changing his location on a regular basis but certainly keeping the use of the set short as possible. I know that there are original sets in Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium France, Britain (one person has 3, one early wooden box version an 2 metal). It was built bij SIS (MI6) and called (The Waddon) MKVII issued later to SOE and these set became known as paraset.

Those capacitors look to be in good shape Helge. Have you been able to locate documentation on this particular radio? Is the transmitter output power fixed or adjustable? What is the maximum output transmitter power? Are valves original late 1930 to mid 1940 issue or do you think they may have been purchased in the 1950 to 1960 years? Thanks for showing the working parts of the radio, the innards. Best 72 de Terry KB8AMZ
