Naja es gibt heute kein VIVA , Bravo TV, Chart Attack, Dance Haus, The Dome etc mehr. wo sollen diese Songs promotet werden? Ist im klassischen TV nur noch im Schlagerbereich möglich. Daher versuchen alle möglichen Künstler ja auch jetzt in diesem Fach Fuß zu fassen.

@@Ziplock9000 The German Community knows that since many years. Alexandra Prince was / is an uncredited Ghostsinger for many German Acts of the 90s. She was also the voice of Blümchen (Blossom), Squeezer and she also worked for the Vengaboys.

EDIT: Retained post for posterity, but it appears Alexandra Prince deserves the flowers for this particular track. Along with Noémi, one of the biggest screwjobs of this era of dance music. What's more is that even the two songs available show that she had range, and the sound palettes were also unique for the genre (these sounds were more commonly used in R&B at the time). Why anyone would give up on that unique appeal and shunt her off to some generic "Latin Pop" group is beyond me. But maybe that's why I'm not a record exec 😅

@@ulzzangloverxD Ok...did Alexandra Prince also sing the unreleased "Jiggy"? Or her Hot Banditoz material where she sounds similar to that track? Even "Gigolo" where she does sound a little deeper, she is by no means unrecognizable and I don't think many would tag her as particularly "unfeminine" there. Entirely prepared to eat humble pie here, and I hope Alexandra got justice if she was done dirty by this track...but there seems to be some deeper issues at play here that you're taking out on me.

@@Kaiveran A little deeper? Fernanda's voice is very deep for a woman. Alexandra didn't get done dirty because that's what her job was most of the time (singing for others or being a background singer). It's just sad that not enough people know about this. What am I taking out on you ? I just find it sad that someone who has a profound opinion as you (which is a good thing) didn't hear about this "scandal".

@@ulzzangloverxD Ahh, I understand better now. Never mind that last, it's hard to tell what people mean by certain language choices and easy to read too much into things. My interests are very scattered so what I do and do not dig deep into is largely random. I didn't even remember this comment thread until you replied, but it's a good reminder to be fully informed before just popping off. Still gonna stan Noémi though (or whoever I later find out sung for her instead)
