I was being arraigned in Court the next day & the Judge spoke French only & when he said blah blah blah…”Humpty Dumpty” EVERYONE burst out laughing 😆 & it actually helped my case! The Judge took mercy on me & banned me from Montreal for 1 year with 2 yrs Probation! They wouldn’t even give me money to get a bus home to Toronto & I had to hitchhike! I can’t believe this memory came back after 40 yrs! 😆 Needless to say my experience in a woman’s jail was enough to scare me straight & I received a full pardon 5 yrs later!! 27:32
