Nona and Sarah are PHENOMINAL! But, can we just talk about how Patti's pitch perfect range here is just ridiculous?! I mean it's a perfect contrast from her younger days. Back the she had agility and range without any thought process going on. She just sang! Here she more than matched that with an even stronger vocal at the same range; she absolutely took years of experience and executed a flawless and even more phenomenal performance with little effort. Truthserum101 after Labelle disbanded Luther Vandross did do a lot of BG vocals for Patti ( as well with real real early David Bowie and Roberta Flack ) and also there were 2 other vocalist who accompanied Luther on these projects and they were Fonzi Thornton ( who did put out an album ) and Tawatha Agee ( mtume ) who also put out an album of here own.

@miznatacha Well what Patti was doing was signifying that this song marked their breakup and so it was more of a theatrical thing with this performance which works out Great...Yes Patti is the more dominant singer but they all lead & unlike diana she never wanted to go solo...this was the type of music she wanted to sing and they wanted to do other genres so they had to let it go...
