This mix marks for me the age when I finished university. We had a group of 6 friends, 4 boys, 2 girls. We just finished the bachelor's degree, it was spring of 2014, and before the final exam, we would have to spend 3 and a half months working in the field we studied (viticulture and enology). Every one of us went separate ways. I was the only one who went abroad, so it also marked the distance, and the realization that the real adulthood is imminent. It is weird looking back how fast time goes by. As soon as I hear the the first song, and I close my eyes, I feel, sense, smell, taste everything that was happening at the time. The nostalgia. Goddamn guys, cherish every minute you have, because in a moment, all can change.

Exactly the same here, I wrote my dissertation to this mixtape in 2015. I was heart broken at the time with my first ex having just left me, but determined to get my 2:1. Such a myriad of emotions going on a mixture of trepidation and excitement to whats next and the stress of finishing the piece of work. The nostalgia is real!

This was my favorite thing to listen to during a very dark time in my life. I was studying chemistry for hours and hours, late into the night, my eyes fighting sleep to finish that night's problems. I felt horrible about myself and the direction where my life was heading, but when I put this mixtape on, all that faded away.
