I've heard quite a large number of lutenists and classical guitarists since I began playing in 1964, and somehow I have only now stumbled upon Diaz-Latorre. He is absolutely wonderful, and master of not only that instrument but also the music. Finding both is extraordinarily rare, and I am really overwhelmed by his playing.

I couldn't agree with you more. This is where they all come out - all the bottled up emotions of a man. I do think that many women do indeed appreciate a man's feelings through his music though, as I've often seen it speak to them.

That is the best version and interpretation of this song I have heard. Completely refreshing, totally insightful that the convention may not have been the previous norm, there is so much more humour and intimacy to this one. It is like the piece has been brought to life. I really love it. Absolutely well done

Hi Ray, thank you It is not a real purpose. It's just that the direction of the strings is that. If u put them in the box, they have to twist, not too healthy ;) regards
