Everyone says to follow your dreams and to aspire for great things, but I'm yet to see a comment on how this can cost everything with no reward. I've been trying to be a musician and the only way I can whilst being able to reliably sustain myself is to join the goddamn military. I need to sell my soul to a group who's beliefs drastically conflict mine to have a chance to achieve my dreams. No gives advice on what to do then, when we cant achieve what we thought we were put on this dying planet to do and know that we're not giving a positive impact to anyone. I'm not trying to diminish the message, I'm legitimately asking for advice on the inverse of your comment, because people either won't or can't do so.
