Labin also known as Albona in Italian, is a town in Istria, Croatia. Latin is a hilltop town with a medieval centre although the city is much older. Already in Roman times it was an important settlement. Nowadays Latin has a population of 7,000 and almost 12,000 live in the greater municipality and some beautiful churches. The municipality also includes Rabac and Vinež.
