Omaya, you felt the pain of an induced delivery!! I had three without induction (first two with epidural), the third without was NEVER as painful as the fourth which was induced. Man the pain of the inducted one was waaaayyyy worse!!!!

That Pitocin is no joke, it feels waaaay more painful 🥴. Two out of three of my deliveries were induced, no epidural for all three and those two induced felt like I was about to die 😩.

My first labor was so manageable and I attribute it to Allah’s mercy alhamdulilah and the fact that He made it so my water naturally did not break the entire labor. They didn’t break it for me until I was about to push and the bag was already bulging. 😂😂😂😂 My advice is if the pain feels tolerable then avoid getting your water broken til right at the end, if possible. ❤

Now you know you can do natural child birth 🎉 I’m so sorry your team wasn’t more helpful. I’ve definitely sat people up to do a repeat epidural. As long as they can stay still for the 5 min procedure and can keep from pushing they can replace your epidural!!

Really every woman is different. I would never want my husband to attend my delivery. At the limit he can be with me but next to my head and not down there. I think it's a pretty traumatic image already for the woman so for the man? Congratulations on the courage you had and on your baby. God bless you

Congratulations to both of you, I was following you throughout your pregnancy, and same time I was pregnant too with a baby girl, and our delivery story is exactly the same I passed my due date also and I had an induction and after pushing 5 hours I ended up emergency C-sectio -n 😢 anyway . The funny thing is that my daughter has born on 03/02/2023 😂 enjoy your baby boy, ❤ 🎉
