Respect to you Paul, section 128 of the constitution says any changes to the constitution must be approved by the people!!! 2 party preferred is not supported by our constitution so in theory the constitution has changed to suit 2 party only and not small parties....isnt this enough for a constitutional lawyer to get rid of 2 party preferred? I certainly didnt vote for it, Pauline Hanson has been my vote since she started..

@terenceherald97142 күн бұрын
Australia's net interest payment, according to the 2024-25 budget was $41.2bn. so about $1306 per second. Though being in surplus for two years and not issuing higher interest rate bonds means that it would have been much worse otherwise.

For those of you who think Dutton or the LNP could do a better job think again. Without major reforms to our tax system and a total reform of corporate and market regulation it wont happen. Who controls and profits from Australian resources, big corporations, many owned by multinationals. Whose name is on your power bill, not the Australian government, if it was it would be Socialism. If any government intervened in price fixing it would be Socialism. You think Reinhardt cares about your gas bill, nope Alinta sell at the highest profit in a market economy, some power companies reduce output to increase the price because they can, its a market economy. Can Dutton do anything about it, not likely if he is in Bed with Reinhardt. Can the government control that, not with a market based economy. And the gap between the very wealthy and middle class grows. If Australians owned a significant share in our resources we would all be better off and have more control, that would be Socialism. WA had some control over its resources and it was better off. But that was a Socialist policy. Norway doesn't have the same level or divide, no people living in cars, no phenomenal rent increases but its a Democratic Socialist country it owns its resources. Dont be fooled by this goon he is getting paid by the corporations that control the market economy, Sky news is corporate controlled advertising.

Its not what he says, its blatantly obvious. Inflation at its lowest in 4 years when LNP were in government. Thats a fact. They have delivered two surpluses thats a fact. Australia is still in the top 15 countries for standards of living, thats a fact. Murray has "alternative facts"

The 2 surplus were from commodities price and the mass imigration. Whilst flooding immigrants in grows the base to draw tax's from it also puts stress on State Government Services and available housing. It is not just Paul pointing this out most reputable ecconomist are also pointing out how Labor since Wayne Swan put spending in catergories out side the acounted budget catergories. They also push timing out so when that budget comes around the spending has already been accounted in historical budget and they skip over it. It is fudging the books. Jim Chalmers has been open about the surplus been from better prices from commodities. But what goes up can also go down. But Labor has used imigration as a tool to keep the country out of offical recession they have done nothing to fix the per capita recession which is the households. It is typical Socialist accounting but at the end they always run out of money to fund the pet projects. So why are we sending funding to Ukraine and UNWRA and paying South Pacific Islands money when in Australia we have record numbers of homeless and record numbers eating out of soup kitchens. You might be ok. But think how it looks to the people living in cars or tents that are still working and can't get ahead how do they see it. Socialism is meant to lift every one up not leave any one homeless. So Albo Chalmers and Penny Wong have failed every one in Australia but the Elites that don't see the cost increases as hardship.
