I run an IT Services company, registered in Delhi. We are 10 employees and 2 directors working full time. Few quick questions I have 1. Do we need to register for it? Is it only for factories and other manufacturing companies or also for IT Companies? 2. We have 1 employee less tha 21k. Is there any minimum wage law? If yes, what is that.

1. Yes you need to register for it . 2. its applicable for employee whose gross wages is upto 21k per month.

If a female get married so her parents are eligible for esic benefits after marriage or not. 2. When I am checking my esi ip online showing no records of contribution but my employer deducting esi money every month. 3. Is this affect on my esi benefits.

सर जी मै एक होटल में इलेक्ट्रिकल सुपरवाइजर पोस्ट पर काम करता हूं १३/१२/१८ को कंपनी के बाहर कंभो पर काम करने के दौरान ३३ हजार वोल्ट की लाइन से करेंट लग गया जिससे हाथ और पैरों में करेंट लगा और हॉस्पिटल में एडमिट कराया गया जन बच गई परन्तु हाथ और पैरों की एक की एक अंगुलिया काट कर निकालनी पड़ी मेडिकल बोर्ड ने ४०% का सर्टिफिकेट बनाया है तथा केस को ESIC. पर ट्रांसफर कर दिया है तथा इलाज ESIC के द्वारा किया गया था,और न ही काम के दौरान safety shoes दिए गए थे और सभी तरह के काम करने पड़ते है,तथा कंपनी के द्वारा कोई मुवावजा दिया गया है बस एक महीने की सैलरी नगद दी गई थी तथा esic के पेंसन भी नहीं चालू हुवी है अभी तक और मै ११/०७/१९ से रेगुलर नाइट ड्यूटी कर रहा हूं मुझे आगे की क्या कार्यवाही करू मेरा मार्गदर्शन करे मोब 7415946788 msaini94@gmail.com

Hi, sir I have just seen your video... It was totally awesome and informative. I just wanted to ask you I am a working person and my company detecting PF and ESI every month of my salary since my joining and it's been more than a year and they have created my PF account ESIC account just a few months back that too after many follow-ups and escalations. But they have not deposited the exact detection to both the accounts. Just wanted to know is there any legal action I can take against my company. I am totally frustrated and tired to hear false promises from them.

Sir, I have 18 employees , 8 employees salary is less than 21k and rest of employees more than 21k. Then what is the applicability.

Employees drawing pay of Rs. 21000 or Above are exempted from ESIC deduction, similarly they do not get any kind of medical facility too. its applicable for employee whose gross wages is upto 21k per month.

Now is contribution rate is changed. New contribution rate is for employee 0.75% and for employer 1.75%.

In the end u mentioned employees contribution towards esi i.e.175 in their ctc which cannot be added in ctc,,, it is deduction .... Sir

ESI contributions (from the employee and employer) are calculated on the employee’s gross monthly salary.

Sir i have a question please try to answer that in Detail I did job in one company for around 1.5 months due to some reasons I left that company. But I filled my pf and esic form in that company and i got my first salary after deductions. After 1 month I got a job in Different company so I don't want to disclose about my past experience to them because that will affect my profile. Can i fill a fresh esic and pf form again in my new Company. Since I don't want to show myself that I was working somewhere else. Or is it mandatory for me to provide my last UAN no. to them

we are a startup with two directors, we got a mail from there that to update status & compliance under the provisions of the ESI Act, 1948. but as there are no employees, for now, what should we fill in that as it needs to be done in 3 weeks. helps us with this.
