What a great group of physiques. I much prefer the size and aesthetics achieved here to the current top competitors. Levrone was fantastic here. Yates as well. I won't even attempt to justify either being superior.

Personally I was never a huge fan of Dorian Yates physique. I always felt he didn't have great aesthetics. He was big, he was grainy and definitely was the first mass monster but didn't have the balance and symmetry of guys like Labrada, Ray and Levrone.

Benazizo hands down. And all the comments agree with me. He looks amazing here. Its because he is short. They want taller people. He looks amazing though.

He did have killer quads and hamstrings, but I honestly don't see him winning the show. His back was as flat as I've ever seen it that night; even Shawn's was thicker. I think Kev's conditioning was at its best ever here, too, but it looks like he lost too much size getting that shredded. Dorian was even harder and, while less "pretty" to look at, was actually more complete head to toe. I thought it was much closer between Doz and Kev on the '94 grand prix tour.

Momo benaziza clearly should have been 2nd or winner,even though small in stature he ROCKED everyone in the arms dept, and even in the back double bi, he stole those 2 poses from Yates. Kevin was aesthetic and well formed but lacked grainy mass overall, only poses I see him losing were the front lat spread due to width and either a abdominal shot or 2 . Benaziza WAS KILLIN EVERYONE!

Lee Labrada was so aesthetic looking compared to these other guys. Shame that the judges never saw fit to go back to Zane type physiques like Lee, Benfatto and Makawwy. They lost their way and now will never break out of the niche field since drugs are so prevalent. Testing is non existent. And everyone knows it. If they tested in a real sense, everyone would go home and there would be no contest. That's how bad it is. And Yates is a good example.

My order would have been Shawn Ray, Lee Labrada, Kevin Levrone, Dorian yates, momo benaziza, Vince Taylor. Vince Taylor didn't look as strong this year. Ray and Labrada looked amazing... I think size, not being 6 foot, is what stops them from winning.
