It's wonderful to see a youngster this excited about her culture. More should be taught their backround and roots. Taught pride in where and who they come from the future of the tribes depend on them. Wado.

My 4x's grandmother was from there so beautiful, 5:45 now I understand why my family was originally catholic. Sewing is widely learned in my family which is why I'm a designer now as well as being school educators.

At 5:36 on the left, behind the great July carnival sign, that building still stands today, upgrades of course. Scott Smith owns that building today, the firework shop. I do believe.

James St.Germaine Hello James, I found most of these photos from around the net and posted by residents of Lac Du Flambeau, but if you go to the historical site of Wisconsin they have truly amazing photos of the Reservation from the beginning to present. I was reluctant to use them in the video because they really want people to just provided a link and direct them straight to the site instead. So if you go to the description it's in there. You might be interested in it, they are incredible. Thanks for watching.

fridaykiss Yes it is. It’s the smoke shop still up and running to this day. I saw that no one had answered, so I thought I’d jump in, even if it’s been a few years. Thank you for this compilation, it was well done. Be well, Ma’iingankwe

Thanks. Learned a lot, and wow what a beautiful state. These tribes were surviving for 9000 years, perfectly adapting to Nature, respect is the word that comes to mind. I hope this culture will live on, still being able to adapt to the conditions of the world around us.

Road blockers. They must forget they are protected by the USA military. Down with tribal rights. No special treatment should be given.
