Gen Ata Hasnain is so accurate to say that Narendra Modi govts confidence to tackle Pakistan's terrorism and his political moves on J&K unnerved China. China had to move its forces in large numbers to save the CPEC and preserve status of Shakshamgam valley which Modi had graduated to threaten. It however was a very big mistake as that virtually pushed India towards Quad and diplomatic aggressiveness essentailly working aginst China.

General Hasnain is a true Indian Patriot who has done so much for the confidence of India & Indians. His are obviously not political platitudes but proven family generational loyalties to India . Indians should now realize that your religion DOES NOT determine your loyalty to the country- and that’s why “Hindutva” as projected by some BJP politicians are harmful to the secular self image of India. It makes many in India think tangentially instead of having a common national purpose not based on religion. In my 86 years I have lived 50 years in India & 36 years now in the U.S. I am presently a Goan Indian American in Georgia USA but born, raised & educated in India - Nagpur/Poona/Bombay subsequently worked in the many Public Sector Projects- Bhilai Steel Plant 1958-1961, Railway Electrification 25 KV AC Traction in Bengal/ Bihar/Orissa/ then special in Power Electronics Automation with Private Sector Siemens India in Projects all over India - I know the Indian people intimately Maharashtrians Bengalis, Punjabis Tamils Malayalis & many including working with Indians of all Religions which I found fascinating - being brought up as a Goan Catholic household & relatives, I considered this an enlightening exposure in understanding my fellow Indians. I am now for 36 years in the U.S. & even though as A US citizen, my first allegiance is to the U.S., but India still occupies a large part of my heart. 1)CCP has failed to see India as an opportunity but considers Pakistan as opportunity is a classical example...that China is not open ended relations. 2)Only leadership change in CCP and PLA can change the negative perspective on India instead of a threat rather an opportunity for the China.This is against the humanity of Asia due to misrepresentation of people by CCP and PLA. 3) Already China have border disputes with all its neighbours,but doing Buissiness with all those nations without settlement of border differences including with Russia and Bhutan. 4)One China is the idea of CCP but Tibet,Taiwan are an exception and along with forceful occupation of other lands of neighbours and still want more land...for global power goal,CCP has compromised international sea laws, disrespect of sovereignty. 5)Still CCP believe that this century is of force, Tactics and powerplay for occupying land,thereby continuously disobeying world norms and rules being a permanent member in UN.Thus fixing/ containing CCP/ PLA has become need of world sea rule followers and of those who trust UN. 6)Xijingping has already done unjust claim attempts ' China can claim Indian Ocean but even Island nations rights are defined according to CCP but not as per international sea laws...This CCP crossed limits. 7) Fishing in Indian Ocean, Research in Indian Ocean,Debt trap of srilanka and Pakistan and BRI nations are clear cut examples of threat, tactics,power play using PLA for the benefit of CCP alone but compromised trust,respect which will have long term impacts for any administration who are mindful for welfare of their own nations.Thus CCP need to be contained/ fixed. 8)CCP and Xijingping leadership has failed to see the opportunities of trust with its neighbours. 9)Use of forces against Budhist, against uigurs, against own people, Thus CCP have to deal with the reflections from all of them. 10) Hope the solutions are in the hands of CCP themselves on the change of aggressive policies but that rests with CCP.But now world is working well on giving CCP their position in the minds but not expecting them they will correct themselves. 11)CCP have the full responsibility to complicate the international relations, Attitude change itself can change the direction of CCP relationship with rest of world including with Russia.

I think ,there is some contradictions in what general is saying ,he says that india has not joined AUKUS due to the fact that it does not want to give impression to the china that it has joined military alliance, if that be the case , the various foundation agreements which india has signed with usa, india has already become part of military strategic alliance, india and usa are already conducting joint military exercises. Even with other countries india is taking part in various naval joint exercises.Therefore he is giving contradictory statements. He further says that our country has managed covid very well, laks of people have died , but he still says that we have managed covid well, people have died due to lack of ocygen, medicines, hospital,food and transportation. I really wonder the thought process which general has.

Indeed you should wonder about the General's thought process. Have you realized that a pandemic could have killed millions; it did not. India developed the vaccine at super speed and embarked on the world's largest vaccination program besides becoming a pharma capital. In geopolitics and strategic affairs one keeps one's stance guarded. You may conduct joint military exercises with half the world but you do not call those military alliances. You may look at the shade of grey a little more instead of being black and white in approach
