Lace Soft Cover Vintage Junk Journal "Ballet Shoes" - Sold - Etsy

Hi - welcome to my channel. This is my latest junk journal. It is a ring bound journal, with a soft cover, covered in layers of lace. It is soft pale pink and ivory colours, with a ballet theme (ballet images taken from the Book of General Knowledge). Gorgeous and pretty and girly. For sale on Etsy www.etsy.com/u...

Thank you Eileen, yes I know what you mean, it's great to be able to add pages or move things as you want to. I did originally intend on binding this with string, which I did try and it looked beautiful, I just didn't have the confidence in the durability. I had seen Sigita use string often and her journals are a great style. However, lacking faith in the string, I swapped it out for the rings, which I must admit I felt much happier with. x

Lovely as always! I really like the ring bound journals. I have just started making journals and have made 2 ring bound and 2 pamphlet stitched signature ones. I have to say I prefer the ring bound ones! You have done some really nice ones. Thank you for the inspiration! XX

Fantastic that you are on your "journal making journey"! Yes I also prefer the ring bound, because they allow you so much more freedom with your embellishing, I sometimes feel a bit restricted with the stitched ones. I hope you are having lots of fun with itx

Even people I have shown them to prefer the ring bound ones. Yes, they are much more flexible. It is good to be able to change the pages around. Yes, having fun but it takes me forever to make each journal! That is why I am "cheating" a bit and buying a few tags, as these aren't for sale. I will ply my friends and family with journals first! I am going to have to reduce the time a bit if I ever plan of making and selling any! Keep up the excellent videos - you really are an inspiration for me! Thank you! Have a good weekend! XX

Family illness has given me little creative time, but watching your videos is the next best thing!
