LACERATION Concept Short - Krexa Prime's Story - By Lei Valtapaz (4K)

This is a short concept video made by Lei Valtapaz back in early 2019, while we were developing the screenplay for the second season of ALTERATIONS (Which is now titled KREXA: Fractured Reality Season 2.)
I was really impressed with what they were able to pull off in this short video! Due to the limitations of the camera it was filmed in, the original video was only in 720p, and there was slight pixelation in the image.
Using some recently-purchased state-of-the-art AI technology (Topaz Labs' Gigapixel AI), I successfully upscaled the entire video to 4K- and I'm mostly pleased with the results.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen this video. Doing the cinematography for this was really fun, though I got my knees drenched in mud on MULTIPLE occasions. It was worth it for the final result, though!

This was a “proof-of-concept” video made a few years back where Lei, (my former partner), recorded stand-in lines for Krexa to finish the video more quickly and send it to me, so that we could talk about things from the script that worked visually, and things that didn’t. Sorry for the confusion, but that’s the reason why Krexa sounds like a girl in this one 😅
