I'm truly grateful 🙏. Your video has been incredibly helpful for those of us who are just starting to navigate the complexities of warehouse management. Grasping the basics can be challenging when faced with inconsistent terminology, but your explanation has provided clarity and guidance on what questions to ask and what to look for. isn't "loading"the same as "shipping"? when we load a truck, we're gonna ship the parcel, right? so why are loading and shipping two different parts in your pic? could you pls explain. I'm gonna design a layout. I need to know the difference between these two.
@Laceupsolutions5 ай бұрын
Loading is the process of putting the products in the truck. Shipping is the actual delivery of the order. We have several articles in our blog regarding layout design. Browse them at www.laceupsolutions.com/blog/. They might be helpful for your layout design.

One of the big downsides to a V-shaped warehouse is safety. In a high-traffic environment there are a ton of opportunities for low visibility acute angle corners to cause t bone or side impact collisions. Anyone looking to switch over to the v-shape should look into mitigating these problems through a variety of means, such as adding extra empty "no-go" space at the end of each rack along the main corridors to increase visibility, or implementing presence detection systems or stoplights at intersections, or limiting vehicle speed to 5 mph.

Mickey-Would you advise against becoming a distributor for a franchise ? And if so, is it customary to pay a franchise fee to be a franchise’s distributor only? Keep the great content coming! All signal, love it! Appreciate any guidance Thank you Dave

Dave, thank you for another comment and more engagement here on the channel. I am not familiar with this type of distribution at depth. It sounds a lot like what some of Little Debbie independents do. That being said, most of the companies offering the franchise have proven models/case studies of other franchisees making money. They should be able to provide this long before you pay any fee. I would consider paying a fee for something with a proven track record and some level of monopoly in your area. I would not pay any fee for a new product that has no track record. Hope that helped!

@@Laceupsolutions it’s a new franchise - service provider to home owners.. also, sells products they use via KZbin diyers.. product is hot but issue is the shipping is so high he’s losing a lot of business- ships from Wisconsin only… he needs a distributor bad
