+Bunny Chan i agree with cody carless. We do not follow the Christians of this world. We all are imperfect and are still able to sin. We follow Jesus Christ. Standing before God He will judge us by the 10 commandments. It is impossible to keep even the first one for one moment of our lives. We need a sinless sacrifice. Blood is what keeps us alive so blood had to be shed to give us life. Jesus paid the price for us to be redeemed to God. The call is to repent(turn from your sin) and believe that Jesus came as payment for your sin debt and you will be saved. The chain of sin weighs down the soul and only Jesus can break it. The Bible says in Jeremiah 20:11-13 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. We love you because Christ loved us first. He died knowing the price of our sin.

I'm a Christian, I was born into the religion and I've been going to church my whole life. I admit I'm not not a big fan of church b/c it doesn't speak out to me. It doesn't make me feel any closer to God, if anything it makes me feel more like an outsider, and out of the 20 years I have going to church, no sermon has ever touched me the way this song has. This song made me feel so proud to be a Christian and to know there's still hope despite all the mistakes that have been made. We need more music like this.

Cried like a baby and ended in prayer listening to this song. I'd been getting into Lacey's solo music and her work in Flyleaf lately. A little over 2 and a half years ago, I was lost to self harm and low self esteem and just believing I was worthless. I wanted to take my own life one day and I remembered a piece of Scripture I had in a book somewhere (by Brian Welch). I called out to God as a last resort and His spirit touched me, and I was filled with a joy, peace, and LOVE I had never felt before. I gave my life to Jesus then. Lately, I've been losing sight of loving Him instead of sin. Along with generally just struggling to address Him as Father and not just Lord. Tonight, every lyric in this song hit me and made me remember the reason I'm still here and that despite my sin I am still deeply loved by God. What a beautiful heart of worship Lacey has, and what wonderful things God has accomplished through her thus far! To those struggling with similar things, please know you are never alone in them like I thought I was... Reach out. And above all, Jesus loves you when it feels like no one else does. I once believed everyone secretly despised me and only acted friendly to me because they felt bad, and that no one could ever understand me. Jesus proved me wrong. He cares so deeply for YOU. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I used to have a sense of self righteousness because I hardly had a problem with sin. Or so I thought. I did what I considered minor sins. White lies, stealing a pen, etc... i somehow thought I was better than others because I didn't deal with cursing or lust or anger. And despite my self rightouseness I actually was pretty humble. I didn't even realize back then that I was self righteous. I just thought everyone else lacked self control. Then life really hit me hard.. i mean back to back hard. God was TRULY humbling me to help me know the state of my fallen nature. Boy do I see everyone differently now. I used to have a lot of compassion for everyone except for drug users and alcoholics. (To me murder is still really hard to give compassion for. It just is the worst..) But now I have compassion for all and I can see how they get to that point and how broke down they must be to be there. Im grateful God humbled me in ways I never knew I needed it.

Dont know if you read your bible but genesis is the biggest love story in the bible about how God's grace surpasses all, He could have just annihilated us for the evil we have done when we were given a simple rule, but He made us live and laid it all upon Himself through humbling Himself and coming as a Human to die a human death so that the penalty can be paid through Jesus Christ, and this is why we must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour because He bought us from death. I am a Christian. Growing up I was bullied at school and my home life wasn't too great either. I eventually didn't see the point in life and became a self harmer and I was suicidal, but one day God came down and rescued me. What a great God we serve!

Oh...I pray that your doubts will be turned around one day...the love of God is a void that no one on earth can fill only he can. That is why you can't find peace within yourself. He is the truth and the light and he can heal your broken heart and give you peace and fill the void that we all have in our life. Will we be perfect?.. no...but you will see the peace he can give you by taking addictions, loneliness, heartbreak, loss of a loved one, many other things we face in this world. Please have a open mind to God. Christans are not all bad the ones that are truly of God will not condemn you or judge you. I went and saw her live during the RESET Movement tour the other night, and let me tell you it was a nice I will never forget. The concert itself was amazing, but afterwards I met Lacey herself! Met her husband Josh briefly when buying merch he let me have the poster for free which was super sweet. Then I met Lacey little after that, I talked to her for awhile about my life and my experiences with God. We connected so well, she got chills hearing my story and even prayed for me then and there.

Wow, yo escuchaba tus canciones antes de conocer a Cristo y me encantaban, ahora estoy muy feliz por que a través de tu vida puedo ver que Dios no necesita de gente religiosa sino adoradores en espíritu y en verdad.
