Definitely the strategy. I do that all the time, with a baller, I get top 25 almost all the time and sometimes top 15 and top 5 counting out the few games I lose when there's a baller hot drop right where I'm going and then I lose instantly. (I'm currently in Arena Division 6, 13 more points to go until Champion League which I should get to soon, and just got a win with 3 elims. a day or 2 ago with this strategy. I actually will be uploading a replay video soon since it was by far my best and most intense PC match. I don't win often so I was extremely happy about the win. I'm not trying to self promote either XD, just wanted to show the strategy that worked and still works perfectly, especially for me)

And the early game isn’t? I mean, it is the World Cup after all so basically everyone is. I am not that good of a player but somehow I managed to win 2 arena division 6 matches so playing for placement points especially with a baller is most likely the way to get placement points, but not too much camping since there is the storm surge warning which causes anyone that is below the damage dealt threshold to take damage which I’m pretty sure is only in the World Cup semi finals and finals, not in the arena mode. I almost forgot about that so I’ll have to practice actually fighting in order to not die myself from the storm surge damage. 😐😐🤔😢😢👍😂😂😂
