Jon Lord ist leider schon vor fast 11 Jahren verstorben, alle tollen Musiker des Hard-Rock aus den 70ern werden auch nicht mehr jünger! Great track and absolutely loved it. What a great Hammond player, kind of reminds me of the first time I saw the late great Keith Emerson playing with the Nice as a three piece back in the late 60s. Keith was an exciting player, lots of improvisation and showman and it just blew my head off not hearing this kind of music before, but now I'm listening to Lachy and he's blowing my head off. Exciting, lots of improvisation, great musician. You can't beat an old Hammond played with lots of feeling behind it. Great stuff.

Your most welcome. I come from a blues, jazz, rock and classical background, mainly listening to music my parents and relatives were playing when I was a little boy. My dad was into Jimmy Smith and Oscar Petterson and stuff like that, my grandfather was in to classical and my uncle rock and roll and with us living in one house you can see where my musical tastes come from. I always was looking for something that combines all three of these different types of music put together. Hence Keith Emerson is and was my music hero. I've actually got in touch with a few old mates and told them to watch you on KZbin. They got back to me and said wow. They are really impressed by you and your playing.

I grew up on on Oscar Peterson as well and Mose Allison. My father was also a great Hammond player. Lachy could do an amazing version of Seventh Son by Mose Allison. 😀

GEEZ what a mix! Everything was blastin but you can still hear every lil detail. The XK5 even being turned into 0s & 1s still retained those " raw emotional mids" missing so much in the 21st C sonic spectrum (eg. AXS TV).Killer clean tone comin outta that strat! Drums and bass sounded natural, not compressed, good tom and bass note separation. Boys, Im old, gotta goda bed sometime tonite.Can yall take a break for bout 10 min let me go home....LOL.
