Still one of the greatest floor fillers as of Sept 23 2024 of ALL time ! Along with YMCA Yes Sir I Can Boogie All the fast tracks off Saturday Night Fever 🕺 Grease Songs Take That Way to many to name but all under 1995 except one or two by Take That. Etc etc I was a DJ for nearly 40 years I’ve been there seen it, done it, played it. Stringfellows, The Hippodrome Leicester Square when it was open. The Empire, Limelight’s Then a mobile DJ for 28 years. I’ve collected over £2 million worth of music over the years. None of it pirate either. I bought a lot of music, but a lot was given to me free. I have a tape from a gig that OASIS did in 1993 before they were famous. It cost me £1.99 bought from Liam Gallagher. I knew they would be massive, we all did, but we all knew it would end in tears coz Liam was an absolute dickhead. My tape is currently been valued at £25,000and it’s never going anywhere except to split between my best friends children that’s if they want to sell it. I sold ALL my vinyl for £30,000 But I have so many vinyls that are worth £100’s & £100’s of £ each. That’s what you get when you’re a good club DJ. I got paid a hell of a lot of money at Stringfellows Limelight’s Hippodrome The Empire so many more. Meeting, partying and becoming very very good friends with quite a few all who shall remain nameless. Youngsters on here I suggest to you if music is your absolute passion go for it, play it, sing or DJ it. If you’re good you will make a lot of money. But one tip if you have someone in your band who is really causing problems won’t listen to any of you throw them out straight away, or they will ruin your careers. P PS NEVER EVER PLAY MODERN SHIT ! Go for the 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s up to mid 90’s Never advertise a just an 80’s night. As a lot well most of the great stuff was 70’s disco 🕺 So always make it a 70’s & 80’s night and so on ! I mean who in shits name is gonna be listening to Kanye West and all these shite Rappers with their r**e and m****r and g*n and Police K*****g Songs eh I’ll tell you who absolutely no one ! It’s not music it’s nonsensical drivel with crowds of 300 if they’re lucky. Depeche Mode my favourite band, Just finished a near 2 year sell out tour places in Germany 🇩🇪 80,000 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 by wanted to do 5 dates at Wembley but had to cancel them as the ticket companies said they wouldn’t be able to sell nearly 500,000 tickets in days Argentina 🇦🇷 122,000 Brazil 🇧🇷 over 100,000
