I used to listen to Lacrimas Profundere since I was 10 years old. Now I'm 30 years old. 20 years of loyalty to this very entertaining band ❤️

Same here. My dad listened to Lacrimas in his 30's. I picked it up 9 years ago when I was 9 or 10, from an old CD of his.

Lyrics: Let us breathe out We've got nothing more to lose Not again For the stars That will break there They will crumble in your heart But pain's not over It has just begun And it will empty you Till you fall through mighty doors I'm only you And nothing more My frozen kingdom I adore you while you tear me down I crawl to you wherever you are I live through your howls And I hate myself for you again For my fears That will grow there And they conquer all my thoughts But grief's not over then It has just begun And it will bury me In this dusty, empty land My frozen kingdom My frozen kingdom My frozen kingdom My frozen kingdom I live through your howls I adore you while you tear me down

What's the song about ? What does he talk about in the lyrics ? 🤔

Is it about mourning ?
@lucivankuu8294 жыл бұрын
@@onecoldplace .Talk about that cold and sad inner self. that as much as everything is fine, you fall back into that. that's why it says. "i'm only you and nothing more, My frozen kingdom" . Referring to that feeling and that's why he hates himself. Well that's my point of view.

@@lucivankuu829 Wow ... It's so deep. Thanks ! Love this song
@FabiHeavy8911 ай бұрын
@@onecoldplace Songs, sometimes, may not have a specific meaning. Other times maybe yes, but there are artists who write songs with a more general meaning, to be interpreted by the listener. There are also others that are more explicit and do not need to interpret anything. Although it must be recognized that the only one who knows the original meaning of a song is the same one who wrote it, since in most cases, a song is usually a feeling, something personal and deep :D.

IMO this is my favorite and the most beautiful song to come out so far in 2019. I have always really liked Lacrimas Profundere a lot from their inception. I have always really enjoyed listening to this band, but in the past they reminded me a lot of Anathema or HIM depending upon the era. However now they sound like themselves and do not sound very close to any other band. I have been waiting for them to find their sound and they have found it and I absolutely love it! This song is perfect, haunting, and gorgeous! The rest of the album is amazing, too. I also like that they returned to their older, doomier sound. Incredible!

The darker atmosperic sound, that "back to the roots" feel with the new prodution quality - they did everything just as they promised, point to point, bit to bit, which probably sounds unreal these days) For an underground band the visuals are simply mindblowing. Bravo, guys! So good to have you back again on a (personal) top band list.
