Just a friendly reminder that Mozart only managed to compose the beginning sentence “Lacrimosa, Dies Illa” before dying. The rest of of the song was composed by a protégée of his so technically we don’t know how the exact version could’ve been

Could I ask - How do you know what heaven sounds like. Where is it so we can all enjoy the sound you heard. I can't imagine what it takes to support this building and the organ. Heaven must have a firm foundation to support an 10 tonne organ.

This is actually a very accurate representation of how Carlo Mozart passed on. Carlo Mozart died on the 31st of October 1858 in Salzburg. The passing of the last Mozart was honored with the performance of the Requiem (Lacrimosa being one of the movements) in the Salzburg Cathedral.

I lived my life like most of us did in the Dixie Federation. I traded for food, stayed at home, and scavenged in the Ruins for anything that would help us. Ever since the fall of the American Empire, life for most has been a short and sad one. Then came a day like no other. I was looting the Ruins like normal, but I came across a great dome, completely intact. It shocked me that some architecture from the old world was still in our strange world. I walked inside, and what I saw was astounding. Great arches, sculptures, halls and windows met my eyes, and gave me a feeling I hadn’t felt in forever. It was serene, calming, and made me think about something other than our ruined Earth for a while. Then, I came to the center of this magnificent wonder. I was dwarfed by everything inside. The feeling of humility was overwhelming. Then, the bells went off. Great, looming bells made of pure gold. Ding, dong, ding, dong, went the bells, in a manner that shook the floor itself. I heard a faint choir in the distance, singing in a glossolalic tongue, with syllables I couldn’t quite put my finger on. The choir grew louder and louder, as did the bells. A stray sunbeam shone in from one of the windows. It was all... so peaceful. So tranquil... Suddenly, I could no longer feel the floor beneath me. I struggled to get myself back on solid ground, but I couldn’t. Flailing and screaming in the air, my body felt lighter and lighter. Then, I stopped. I simply accepted that whatever was going to happen was going to happen. After all, what did I have to lose? My old rifle on my back? My body soon began to shine. It began to glow brighter, and brighter, until I myself rivaled the Sun in its brightness. And then, while the choir still sang and the bells still rang, I felt myself flying through a tunnel of space, stars, galaxies and nebulae. At the end of the tunnel shone a bright light, brighter than anything I’d ever seen before... Everything faded to white. I came to, at the foot of a crystal staircase, leading to a gate made of pure gold. I climbed up this staircase, each step feeling like pure bliss. Before I knew it I saw the gate before me, leading to another bright light, emitting beams of light that shone in every direction. The gate opened. Beyond the gate I saw a realm of colors and sounds. Everything had a name, a color, and its own distinct song. Colors I hadn’t seen before shot in every direction, intersecting and forming shapes, lines and arcs. In the distance mountains of octarine clouds reared their mighty peaks. Everyone and everything I ever knew and loved was there, seemingly waiting for me. I stepped through... And I finally was at peace with myself.

And so, Mozart's spirit was still strong after he died and to prevent further shame he already did unto his own name in such circumstances, his spirit strived to deliver how he would've composed the last composition unto his pupil. The pupil received and compelled the piece written as if his later master would've written it, but who would believe such things? Then again, Mozart turned ill after his father died, for his conscience had been hammering him about guilt towards his father. Despite being mischievous, he would still want the recognition from his father and the cruel circumstances snatched the possibility for redemption. In such agony, a man like Mozart, a former festive and youthful clown, would've had a broken spirit, capable of creating such masterpieces to appease his conscience, whose strive was strong enough to be heard by his pupil and listened by millions upon millions as the centuries went by.
