I just got one of these a couple months ago. It's a pleasure to ride. There's about a three week break in period. But with each ride it gets more and more comfortable. Worth every penny.

would you say lacroix is safer cause theyre wider?

my only concern is battery replacement. How much to replace the battery? For the evolve gtr its 900 canadian which is absolute rape...I am so disappointed but I guess that's the cost
@AlienRides4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, battery replacement isn't cheap at all, but these are really high quality packs. I think much higher quality than the gtr.

hi bro i was wondering is that board still available ?i only see the new models i like the dss50/60.thanks😎
@AlienRides4 жыл бұрын
As far as I know LaCroix has replaced this model with the newer Jaws/Nazare/Lonestar models, and no longer sell this one. But the new models are among some of the best esk8 boards you can buy.

Great carver you think? I'm looking for an alternative to my Onewheel since I'm so horrible at breaking I always feel like I'm about to die (but love the maneuverability and speed otherwise, lol)
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
I'm not much of a carver myself, and hear the Kaly might be better at carving, but I have seen some people carving nicely on the LaCroixes for sure! I do think this would be nice to have alongside the OneWheel due to the nice speed and range upgrade though.

Any remote connectivity issues in your area?
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
Occasionally, but these days everyone’s switching over to the Hoyt remote which is really great solid and never loses connection.

Yeah whenever I read about remote disconnects it seems to be in the Bay Area lol

hi nice video, can you ask kellen a question from me, or maybe you know it. are the 7 inch evove wheels better then the original 7 inch lacroix wheels?i
@AlienRides6 жыл бұрын
chris 222 I asked Kellen and the evolve ones are better. “They basically never puncture and if they do, they’re so thick you can ride them on a flat. Must have upgrade.”
@mobbdeep78926 жыл бұрын
Alien Rides thank you really much my friend 👍🏻 then i will buy the evolves
@benriding86785 жыл бұрын
Chris 222, yes the Evolve tires are MUCH better! I wore out my stock tire out in only 6 rides but then again I carve the heck out of thing!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5Stho2Cesykpqs

@@AlienRides When you said 44 that was KPH?
@AlienRides6 жыл бұрын
LJ Powell I believe that was in reference to MPH, wasn’t clear if that was downhill or not but I will ask Kellen.
@MaVeRiCk776 жыл бұрын
@@AlienRides Yeah, they definitely don't do 44mph under their own power.
@gregorypatzelt69646 жыл бұрын
This is one of the nicest e boards on the market for sure..a lot of the riders here in NYC in the nyc eboard group have these and they're awesome. I'm not too sure they can hit 44mph lol..... Maybe 34. When you get into this price range there are some serious boards such as the LaCroix and Kaly.NYC. Currently having 3 electric skateboards and 2 electric scooters, I'm torn between something like a Dualtron Spider/Falcon 10x or something like the LaCroix. I'm leaning towards the dualtron spider because I do not currently have any good scooters ( the goped esr is my best scooter) so having a dualtron or falcon 10x would make scooter riding so much better. I've never owned or ridden a badass dual drive scooter with suspension, but I imagine it's amazing. I can tell you that these LaCroix boards and Kaly.NYC boards with AT Tires are a whole other league of e boarding. They just eat up bumps and are just so comfortable. Tough decision at the same exact price! Thoughts??
@AlienRides6 жыл бұрын
Lol, super hard to make that kind of decision! Both the scooter and an eboard are in a whole different league than cheaper options. Do you already have a fast board? I personally think that there is going to be a bigger gap in the scooter performance if you get a 10X or Dualtron, so that would be my suggestion, sure others would say to get a board though. Ultimately up to you! Good luck with the decision 😅

44mph definitely not but 42mph yes.

Pronounced La Kwa my friends , means the cross in french. Some ride 20 tooth gears with 8" wheels to reach 45 mph (freaks) on the other side are the 16 tooth 7" riders that love the crazy torque

How does it compare to metroboard x?
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
That's a good question, I'll have to get some more insight into it, the metroboard x, it certainly seems like a very nice board at first glance. I think LaCroix is about to drop a new board though, a more direct comparison would be the metroboard x to the LaCroix 2 most likely. The next few months should be very interesting for esk8.
