Lacrosse Technology V61 initial thoughts/ review

Thanks so much for confirming issues still exist, especially with Wi-Fi that I have found with other models as I had a chance to get this and the thought of it failing (as my last one did) within 1 to 3 years was just not worth it.... Plus with most of the models now having all the sensors in one Module, there's not much room for replacement cost.. When one device fails.

Temp sensors should be separate so they can be placed in a shady space where I think they belong.

Problem is a shady location typically won't give accurate temperature readings at night time. Needs to be away from houses and if in the woods, the canopy from the trees actually keeps things warmer unless the wind is blowing.

I sent it back because the temperature wasn't accurate.

I like my pro LaCrosse station fine...or would, if the drat thing actually worked. No NWS.... Won't report out to Wx Underground. Used to. Never seen a company work so hard to take itself out. Look around...I'm not an outlier. This unit WAS great. No mas. Seriously, look elsewhere.
