**SPOILER OF THIS EPISODE** I find it jarringly weird that neither Klavier nor Alita asked "Why did Meraktis left the gun with me while unconscious on the stand?". Surely Meraktis was aware she wasn't dead, just unconcsious... he could see her breathing, feel her heartbeat... he's a doctor! It's a really good question, and it's especially weird to me because in every single game, the prosecution demands the defense to explain every single mysterious detail.

Yeah, it'll be nice if they go into the details. But i have an explanation to that. He really thought she's dead, not unconscious. That's why he *decided* to dispose her body in the river, they also mentioned her body as "corpse" during the trial. Have heard of Lazarus syndrome? She got strangled and make her heart stop beating, the doctor probably do the CPR after but doesn't work, panicked he want to dispose her corpse ASAP. The Lazarus effect (autoresuscitation) is when someone declared dead from cardiac arrest suddenly shows signs of life, usually within 10 minutes of CPR ending. As we can see she's awake when the doctor arrived at the park. And for the gun probably he also want to dispose it with her corpse because it's related to her.

Spoiler When I watched the walkthrough of this case I always heard complaints that the opening gives away that the gunshot came from inside the cart because of the position of the flash. I never noticed it before but the updated graphics make it really hard to not see it now

I kinda hate how Meraktis didn't know she wasn't dead AS A DOCTOR, AND he left the gun with her, kinda an annoying plothole.

I guess he was kind of in a panic and didn't bother to check and brought the gun with him to dispose along with the body. it's suspicious enough to drag a noodle stand in the middle of the night so I guess the only way to put the gun was inside, in case a police was there to search him or someone to spot him having a gun. and one thing I've noticed is why would he use a sports car to dispose a body in a nearby park that would surely draw attention.

Because he was using the noodle stand he couldn't go too far because he was walking slowly and suspiciouly so he had to chose nearby place. Also with the doctor didn't checking her and her gun, i aggre with LemonNade. He was just in panic and threw a gun in a noodle stand too to dispose it. He wouldn't do that if he knew she's still alive
