I’m a 27 year old, big, burly, manual labor working, heavy metal loving motherfucker and when sori started describing the song singing about pain and how it hits the soul a certain way I literally began to cry. Where I live, there’s not many people that are as into anything I am or care about emotion in music. You hit the nail on the head and it gave me a moment of peace knowing there are others. This place is broken. I got more genuine human connection from a video made by people I’ll never know past this. Much love

I'm still watching, but I'm so excited that you guys reacted to this!! Lacuna Coil is my absolute favorite band. Their music has played a huge role in helping me during my darkest times. No music moves me more than theirs. I just saw them play in Chicago and met the band, and I'm friends with the guitarist Diego; they're incredibly kind, down to earth people. I'll be going to Paris in December to see them and meet the band again. This is a song off their new album Black Anima, which I consider to be their masterpiece. Every song on this record is incredible.

I've now reached the end of watching this reaction, so I'll add some more thoughts and info. I love that you were both so moved and touched by this song. The exact intent of the band with this new album was to pour all the emotion and the pain from their personal lives, and use it to heal the pain and comfort the fans and listeners. So when you hear the lines, "keep walking, we'll find the way," that is very much an example of that intention on the band's part. Cristina in particular had a very rough past few years and lost both her parents. I hope you guys get to meet the band someday, they're so kind hearted and warm, but you can see that they've also been through a lot. To share that feeling with the band and to be reminded that they're human beings who go through the same things as us, that connection is amazing, and this album has been crucial in further healing me this year and helping me to not feel so alone. Sorry for the long comment, I just really enjoyed this video and also enjoyed hearing what you had to say. Thanks guys, much love as always!

When you said that you thought the 1st verse was about drugs it really hit me why I connected to the song . I was an addict for probably well over 10 years dictated to heroin and I overcame that and I do live in the past of all The Times that I wasted and all The Times that I've hurt people and I can't forgive myself a lot of times and I've had to work on that and it really clicked that that is why I really connect to the song because of this subliminal message I was getting and when you said that you thought it was about drugs it really clicked with me that wow that's exactly subconsciously why I was connecting with the song so much awesome reaction guys love your channel!!!

I’m just so thrilled that Lacuna Coil is getting all the love and attention they so rightly deserve, especially for their latest music. Love how quickly you guys seemed to love this song as soon as it started. Kind of reflects my own reaction when I first heard it back when it first came out. “Black Anima” is a masterpiece of an album, packed with emotion. Personal favorites from this album include “Save Me”, “The End Is All I Can See”, and “Veneficium”; which I highly recommend. Though, I love all songs off this album in general and I haven’t been able to stop listening to it since its release. Last year for me was rough, and though certainly this year was better...I still had my rough patches. People seldom look at me and think I’m even close to having any kind of religious beliefs, but I do. I don’t really push it on people or talk openly about it. I’m not embarrassed by it, though, just don’t really talk about it. Both that and music like Lacuna Coil’s helped me be able to help myself through those times. I didn’t have a friend in the world (in the physical sense, and I still kinda don’t). Music took that place and it still does right now. I look forward to a day when I can find real friends that I can share this music with. That being said, I appreciate that you guys go in depth with these songs and really look into what you feel these songs mean. That’s what I hope people do when listening to this music rather than just judging on what they hear on the surface. These songs mean a lot to me and other people. Sorry for the long comment. I tend to go on tangents. I enjoyed your reaction, and hope to see more from Lacuna Coil here in the near future!

Hey Friend! Just wanted you to know that you are not alone. I myself are religious but don't push on people like yourself. My love for Lacuna Coil and amongst other bands is what keeps my mind off troubling times. Just wanted you to know how much i appreciate your openness and honesty. Bobby Hernandez thank you for such kind words! I didn’t expect that anyone would see my comment, but it’s a good unexpected thing. I often find it’s nice to have a shared experience, in a sense, like having the same things pull you out of a dark place. It does give that feeling of not being alone. Not everyone has been in the same exact dark place, but sometimes they’re pulled out of them by the same things and experiences. I hope I’m making sense, I tend to babble. Again, thank you so much! You rock, too!

Lacuna Coil/ Christina Scabbia have an amazing sound. Awesome that you have found them. Christina and Dave Mustaine/ Megadeth did a alternate version to A Tout Le Monde worth checking out when you have time. Of course the past seems better for most when your younger, care free no responsibilitys and living day by day. Then comes family bills and and those who depend on you brings pressure for some etc etc. Personally I wouldn't change it for the world when walking through the door and the kids face light up no matter how much of a shitty day you have . Black Anima is THE best album LC have put together to date, hands down. Each song is powerful on it's own, but listen through the whole album the story just gets sooo much better. Should note that Cristina lost both her parents just weeks apart, so before they started writing and working on this album, she was in a pretty dark place.. but, like the songs tell, she came through. Feeling regret and sorrow and all the things that follows. And learning that darkness in your life isn't always a bad thing, it can be something that can help us grow stronger .. better to hear it from her own point of view, and she's done quite a few interviews talking about it you should read! To get kind of a picture of the mindset behind the album. Also love how the lovely Cristina Scabbia are doing different (and new) things with her voice, just shows off her amazing talent. Another good pick off the album is "Save me".. hits home for many I'm sure.
