The choir director realized the band was playing on another level than what he prepared the choir to sing at and the director choir director solo at the end went flat. He should of just fed off the band and let them continue to shine

the little boy behind him reminds me of me before I was able to get to play the drums for my church. Had to sit, watch, and learn how to do everything. No lessons, but trial by error....lol The church always made good musicians who play by ear, not so much by being taught

Melanise Fowler I agree. I grew up COGIC and attended many musical services at Kennerly Temple, other local churches for district meetings and state convocations. I even attended services and musicals at AIM (formally UNAC) conventions and national Holy Convocations, and I am still COGIC, but there is such a loss of anointing and more pride and flesh on display now more than ever in the body of Christ. I felt the director, but there was a lot of pageantry going on that night. Pageantry has become common place at musicals, and now that homosexuality is running rampant in the church, the musicals attract brothers with sugar who dance and frolick around in their mess at Saturday night and late night musical services. I was born years after Bishop C.H. Mason died, But I know that he would be disappointed if the state of the Church of God in Christ at this present time. All of this calamity and mess that is going on in the world is taking place because of what is going on in the church- not the real body of Christ--but the church. smh
