The wives tale i grew up with was.... an itchy right hand meant you will meet someone new (shake with the right hand) and an itchy left hand you will be coming into money. I love hearing old wives tales and how everyone has their own version. 😊

Nice bracelet. I love the colors you chose. For the wives tale, the version I know is that if the palms of your hands are itchy, then you are going to come into money. Hoping you and Jen weathered Fiona safely and without any damages.

Eureka beads used to sell seed beads in 50 to 100 gram bags, but unfortunately they don't anymore. The best I have been able to find is Auntie's Beads direct. Most of their seed beads come in 25gram tubes and they sell Toho and Myuki. All of their seed beads are on sale right now along with quite a few of their 2 hole beads. I hope this helps ☺️

Hi Emma, this is a very pretty design... I'm glad you found it.. I have been trying to figure out something to do with these beads and now, thanks to you, I have a great design to try. Just a of tip you might be interested in. You are probably having trouble with the 15o's because your thread in too large. You might want to try your 4lb instead. With the larger lbs you fill up the wholes quicker. My go to is 6lb...seems to work well with most projects. I heard it the same way, money with the right hand. My favorite saying was from my grandma '' never look a gift horse in the mouth ''. How true. Anyway have to go find some beads to try this out. Thanks so much for sharing. With love and prayers for you both, Sue 😀😉🙏😺💛 .... Am on the last round of seed beads... My 15s are a little on the snug side but not a problem so far. I'm using my normal 6lb and big eye needle. I had to use a substitute color for my 8o's ...didn't have all 3 the same color. Used bronze 15 + 11o's then found a beautiful iris green for 8o's. I've used 4 different color ginko beads.. Swade plum, drk plum, green Rembrandt and olivine Rembrandt. Good colors for the winter. Lots of love, Sue 🐇🐇❄🐇🐇

Thanks Sue ❤️ I was glad to be able to use my 4lb line and it was perfect. Yours sounds awesome. So I used the 4lb in a new bracelet. The colour looks like a Harlequin. I will do a reveal tomorrow. Bless you and stay warm. ❄️☃️

@@BabySquirrelBeading looking forward to seeing it. Been real cool and very windy today... I had to take a walk to the church, someone wanted my help. I love walking in storms. Makes me feel truly alive. It was great fun with the 3 St. Bernards and the golden. Now it's just me and memories. Been very cold at night too. Have seen snow twice already, in the past few days . How's it around you? Take care my friend. Sue 🐇🐇🐇

@@sjwilson1034 We had a dusting Sunday morning. It's been crazy windy. The ocean is crazy with waves. I know what you mean about feeling alive in the cold. I used to barefoot run in the ice and snow. It was amazing. When you were describing it I had a flashback of reading Margaret Lawrence books. She's a famous Canadian author who write about getting female characters struggling in harsh Canadian winters. I can totally visualize you walking. Very cool. I think it's time to reread her books. 🌬️🌫️❄️

Hi Emma, I had to laugh when I saw the Ginkos on your desk because I just bought a bunch of them on sale at Artbeads, they should be here soon. I saw a beautiful bracelet tutorial and kit somewhere but didn't want to buy the kit. I have never used these before but I am trying to teach myself more beadwork to add to my stringing. I bought an inexpensive loom also so that will be loads of fun and easier than using one of the alternate methods, I got Delicas and Superduos for the loom. Now if I can just stay healthy enough to get something done. Help!!! I remember you mentioned you had a group that we could join but of course I didn't get the name, fatigue is a real game changer sometimes and I feel lucky to remember my own name. I would really like to join your group if you would let me know where to find it. Thanks 😼💜

The group is Bracelet Workshop. The link is in the About section of this chanel. I hope you have fun with the ginkos and stay healthy and rested. 😷💙
