It is written in the Lada book that the car can operate between -40 and 40 Celsius, I believed this until now, it is like a Kalashnikov, although the starter motor was a bit stubborn at the beginning. Good, the video works.

Long Jears ago i had a Lada 1500 75Hp. The heating for Austrian conditions is too hot. It is only cold - hot - and very hot to adjust. Gasoline consumption was about 14,5 liter per 100Km. But i had a very sporty driving style 😅

that is UNO MK1 which looks similar to Brazilian built but they're much different, Brazilian uses much of mechanicals (engines, suspension) from older Fiat models (127, 128 or so) and were never upgraded to MK2 when it was released in Europe ~1989 albeit in later models dashboard seems to be MK2 derived.

Amazing car just like all Lada. As an Italian I find it pretty similar with Fiat 124, but with another engine, quite bigger if 1700 cc.

Well, this is not exactly a Fiat 124. In the late 60s, the Soviet Union established a car factory in Togliatti, and the Italians delivered a production line there. Numerous changes were made to the Fiat 124 concept, taking into account the Soviet weather conditions and the poor condition of the roads. E.g. the heating device was improved, the wheel supports were strengthened and the suspension was strengthened. In the end, the cars had very little in common and the finished car only resembled a Fiat, which would hardly have lasted long in the cold and conditions of Siberia...

Damn as a mediterranean guy who's using distilled water instead of Antifreeze cause it's not needed around here can't imagine starting your car every day like that, even 0W oil isn't oiling in this weather so basically the engine works without oil for quite a lot every time. And i feel bad for myself over "cold" starts at 5c with 10W40.
